Make it possible to type bitrate, frame rate etc. manually, e.g. '40000' (bitrate) and '23.976' (frame rate). That should make the program even better (IMHO).

Enable true 'Back Up'. The field is crowded with programs that rip & convert to mobile formats. So to differentiate, add 'Backup to same format' to the functionality.

Add conversions for .smv so my mp3 player can play the videos. I know that the more you add the more complex you get, but you do call it the all-in-one

my mp3 player plays .smv videos and it has been hard to find a converter that does that without and does other types as well. I don't want to have several coverters when 1 would be better, but there isn't 1 "all-in-one" yet that I have found.

add coversion for .smv

My mp3 player plays smv videos and I have yet to find a converter that does smv and other types well. I would rather not add several tools, when an "all-in-one" will do, but none of the all-in-ones can handle everything. All of the ones I have...

Add option to copy audio unconverted so that you can get full AC3 sound with an XVid (.avi) output rather than being stuck with mp3.

Since many of us use software the same way each time, have your software remember what we did last when we re-open it again. As an example, when the box is checked to open the folder after the conversion, place a check box below that says 'Always u

When ripping a DVD to MP3, the first 20 seconds of the new MP3 has nothing. Fix your software so new MP3 will start music/voice, etc. . . no longer than 2 or 3 seconds after MP3 starts playing.

If You're Going To Market It As 'Pro' At Least Add Some Basic Editing Features (crop, split, image adjust, effects, trim - not by keyboard entry but sliders)

I know of a couple competing products that have the same general features you have on Media Converter "Pro", (their interface is almost identical too - hmm). But they also include the ability to trim, crop, split, merge, adjust color saturation &...

Add A PAUSE Button - for the preview player, trying to save a screen cap or figure out START/END time is rediculous

Overlooking the very common feature to PAUSE the preview player wasn't good.
